Welcome to Our Site

The Hausman Fellowship Program is specifically intended to engage undergraduate nursing students in a way that recognizes their current level of clinical skills and strengths and builds on them. The Nursing Fellowship encourages students to embrace their cultural identity and use it as a strength in a healthcare career setting. The Hausman Nursing Fellowship is a paid experience, however, fellows must find and fund their own housing in the Boston area.

Ready for Success

The Hausman Youth Scholarship Program at Mass General is an interactive learning program experience tailored for the children of MGH support staff of diverse backgrounds. The students are asked to write an essay on health issues, diversity, the environment or any issue that they may consider as an issue that needs to be resolved; and what they can do as an individual to change it or improve the lives of the people or the environment.

Be Yourself

The Hausman Programs work to help students embrace their background and use it to build their self-confidence in the healthcare field. Many of our fellows come from diverse cultural backgrounds, speak different languages, have diverse traditions, hold different religious beliefs, or are of different sexual and gender orientations.
